At Meli Co., we practice urban beekeeping as a way to make better use of the spaces we already have. Our Oʻahu based service runs on a simple belief: in Hawaiʻi, our built spaces and natural ecosystems should thrive together.
 

Our islands’ precious land is both limited and sensitive, so expanding outward is not always an option. Instead, we see unused areas like rooftops as opportunities for our commercial environments to create a powerful impact. We transform commercial spaces into thriving apiaries through our turnkey service, integrating pollinators into the heart of our built environments.

We work with hotels, commercial properties, and corporate campuses to install and manage honeybee hives on their properties. Guided by our deep passion for the bees and our ʻāina, our professional team ensures every partnership is seamless, meaningful, and aligned with luxury-level guest expectations. When done responsibly, urban beekeeping is a practical way to support ecological health, increase awareness of pollinators, and create a meaningful connection to our environment.
 

Our partnership with the bees allows your property to:
